IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Montenegro-Kosovo 2014-2020 The global objective of the programme is to improve the standard and quality of living of the people in the programme area through the environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive economic development of the region, with respect for its common cultural and natural heritage.
The Directorate for Finance and Contracting of the EU Assistance Funds (CFCU), being the Contracting Authority, in cooperation with the Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS), organized four-day Information Sessions, after launching the 1st Call for Proposals for the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Montenegro-Kosovo 2014-2020. The Information Sessions were held in the period 20th – 23rd March 2017, both in Montenegro and Kosovo, more precisely, in Podgorica, Bijelo Polje, Gjakovë/Đakovica and Pejë/Peć.
The Information Sessions were organized with the purpose of fostering the capacities of the potential grant applicants from Montenegro and Kosovo in preparation of the project proposals, in accordance with the European Union requirements and the criteria set in the Application Package. The events were attended by a total of 201 potential applicants from Montenegro and Kosovo.
