IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Montenegro-Kosovo 2014-2020 The global objective of the programme is to improve the standard and quality of living of the people in the programme area through the environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive economic development of the region, with respect for its common cultural and natural heritage.

Target groups: 50 rural households in cross-border area of Kosovo and Montenegro; 20 tourism organizations and associations in cross-border area; 8 tourism agencies in cross-border area; 15 rural communities in cross-border area.

Kosovo: Peja Municipality; Montenegro: Municipalities of Plav, Andrijevica, Berane, Gusinje, Bijelo Polje, Mojkovac and Bar.
Impact of the project:
15 rural communities supported with critical tourism infrastructure and signalization, capacity development, direct investments at household level, and promotional materials and activities, in developing their rural tourism offers that will provide employment opportunities, generate income and economic growth.
