The 3rd Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) meeting of the IPA III Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Montenegro-Kosovo 2021-2027 was held on 9 July 2026 in Bar, Montenegro. Representatives of the participating countries gathered to review the progress of the Programme and discuss key implementation matters.
During the meeting, the Joint Monitoring Committee examined the projects proposed for funding under the 1st Call for Proposals and provided its advisory opinion on the list of operations selected prior to the grant award decision. Members also exchanged views on the overall implementation of the Programme and the next steps to ensure its successful delivery.
Following the JMC meeting, representatives of the operating structures held bilateral consultations to discuss the upcoming programme activities and the roadmap for the remainder of 2026. The meeting also served as an opportunity to address open implementation issues, strengthen coordination between the programme partners and agree on the next steps for the effective implementation of the Programme.
The meetings reaffirmed the strong partnership between Montenegro and Kosovo and their shared commitment to achieving the objectives of the IPA III Cross-Border Cooperation Programme through close cooperation, effective coordination and transparent programme management.
